Areas of Practice
-
Tao of Trauma
Tao of Trauma is a healing method that merges Eastern philosophies and Western science, emphasizing the body’s wisdom in response to stress and trauma. It promotes healing by helping individuals recognize bodily sensations and emotions, allowing the release of stored stress from the tissues. Tao of Trauma is not psychotherapy or massage. It can be combined with psychotherapy but is not a requirement.
-
Adult Psychotherapy
Various therapeutic approaches seek to address both symptoms and the root causes, presenting a comprehensive understanding of your mental health. Individualized care appreciates the uniqueness of each person's path, fostering a customized experience that centers on your specific requirements and goals. The combination of somatic psychology and trauma-informed care promotes deep transformation and clarity.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a highly researched, evidenced based approach to treat trauma. Bilateral stimulation is used to reprocess traumatic memories, which can significantly reduce psychological distress. As clients engage in the EMDR process, they often report a newfound sense of safety, empowerment, and resilience, enabling them to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and confidence.
“Chelsea takes the time to actively and sympathetically listen to my areas of pain and discomfort. The first time I had treatment I was in so much pain with my shoulder, neck, and feet. I was a mess, and at my end of wanting to feel this way! I was eating healthy, going to the chiropractor, doctor, and doing yoga, but I still had a constant feeling of pain. I was ready and open for Chelsea to work her magic, and I was blown out of the water. Magic! Chelsea has a beautiful skill of helping. My pain was completely gone after one session, and I felt a spark of recharge! I am thankful to have had this opportunity of her healing hands and talents helping me.
